Judy Wickey Roskosky was born to A.P. and Lillian Wickey on November 19, 1948 in Highlands, Texas.

She went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2024 in Angleton, Texas at the age of 75.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, A.P. and Lillian Wickey of Anderson, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, John Roskosky of Angleton; daughter Darlene McBride and son-in-law Dan McBride of Marble Falls, and stepdaughter Nicole Mouhot of Sulphur. Judy found great happiness in being a grandmother to Mason Aaron of Austin, Sterling McBride of College Station, Ashley Austin Boyette of Sulphur LA , Megan Austin of Sulphur LA, and Tyler Austin Big Stone Gap VA. She later celebrated great-grandchildren Caroline Austin, Paxton Boyette, Hollyn Austin, Ivy Austin, Madilynn Austin, and Graham Austin. Additional loved ones included Celia Shaver of Arlington, Kevin Mask of Southlake, and her treasured Ney and Second Baptist family.

Judy was raised in Anderson, Texas in a Christian home where she learned to play the piano alongside her mother and ride horses with her father. Brought up in the Anderson Baptist Church, Judy began serving the Lord through music at an early age. After graduating Anderson-Shiro High School, Judy attended Sam Houston State University graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Education. She became the wife to a Marine(retired), marrying John Roskosky in 1983. Throughout her life Judy carried herself with the elegance of a true southern lady. She was quiet, but strong. She knew where she stood with the Lord and embraced her family and friends with unconditional love and support. It will be these traits that will be missed most.

Services will be at 9am Wednesday, April 17th at Second Baptist Church Angleton Texas. Graveside will follow at 2:30pm at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Anderson Texas.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Second Baptist Church in Angleton.
