Andy was born October 10, 1932 to father, Thomas Harris Anderson and mother, Annie Hugh Black Anderson in Bashi, Alabama. Andy served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was an MP stationed in Germany from 1953 through 1955. After his honorable discharge from the Army, Andy and a buddy hitchhiked from New York City back to his family home in Clute, TX. Shortly after his return from his military service he became a Carnation Milk Man in the Brazosport area. When his wife, Beverly, was a teenager she remembers him delivering milk to her family, not knowing at the time that he would someday be her husband. Andy went to work at Dow Chemical, Freeport Plant, as a Pipefitter and retired after 23 years of loyal service. Andy is survived by his wife of 29 years, Beverly King Anderson of Lake Jackson, He is also survived by his two children; son, Ricky Anderson and wife Mitzi of Three Rivers, TX along with their three daughters, Kyndal, Rikki Lea, and Makensey Anderson of San Marcos, TX;his daughter Rene Anderson Linder and husband Steve of Lake Jackson, and their son Dylan Linder of Kyle, TX, along with the mother of his children Happy Bertolett of Three Rivers, TX; one brother Norman Ralph Anderson and his wife Margaret of Deer Park, TX. Andy was the sweetest man you would ever want to know. He was a man of few words with an infectious smile a twinkle in his eye and a mischievous sense of humor. To know Andy was to love Andy. Over the years many people have had the privilege of being one of his family members, extended family members, friends, coworkers or acquaintances and all are blessed to have known him. Rest in Peace, Sweet Andy. Should you choose, the family request that charitable donations be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
