Charles William Bennett

Charles William Bennett, 58, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at his home in Freeport. Charles was born July 1, 1956. He was a huge fan of Rock & Roll music. His favorite artists were Journey, Van Halen and Aero Smith. He also enjoyed going to the beach, watching "The Andy Griffith Show" and "VH1 Classic". He was an animal lover and he loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered for the many laughs he shared with his family and friends.


He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur C Bennett and Dorothy Bennett Hammond. He is survived by the mother of his children, Helen Kay Bennett, his son, Chance Michael Bennett, his daughter, Chelsea Kay Robertson, his son, Chandler Scott Bennett, his grandchildren, Cody Michael Bennett, Caylee Marie Bennett, Landen Michael Robertson and Liam Matthew Robertson, sister, Carolyn Gordon Box, his brother-in law, Terry Joe Box, his nephew, Wes Box, his! niece Terri Jo Box.


Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Lakewood Funeral Chapel at 2 o'clock.
