On January 25, 2015, my mother Barbara Ann (Adams) Huber went to heaven
to meet Jesus and be reunited with my dad and family and friends. She was born in
Long Mott, TX August 19, 1922 to Roy Franklin and Cassie Beall (Smith) Adams.
She graduated from San Marcos High School and continued her education at

During WW 2, she worked in Port Arthur teaching home economics, and in Austin
working as a dietician at Seton Hospital. She married my dad Wilbert W. Huber in 1947 and moved to Midland. After living in Liberal, KS (where I was born) and Artesia, NM, we moved to Lake Jackson in 1952.
She taught at A. P. Beutel Elementary School from 1958 until she retired in 1987.
After she retired, she enjoyed woking in the Church library, traveling, and playing bridge and canasta.
She is preceeded in death by my dad, her parents, her older brother James and
younger brother Tom, and in-laws on both sides of the Adams and Huber families.
She has left behind her daughter Shirley Kaye and husband John Titsworth of
Glenwood, IA, and numeous nephews and nieces and great and great great nephews
and nieces on both sides of the family.

Shirley, I am so sorry for your loss. Our mothers were great friends and we have wonderful memories of their journey together....their teaching and their trips. May God bless you as your heart begins to heal.
