Joe Merritt, 71, of Oyster Creek passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Brazosport Hospital. He was born November 29, 1943 in Aransas Pass, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Merritt of 17 years. The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. until service at 3:00 p.m. Saturday May 23, 2015 at Lakewood Funeral Home.
