Benny Morgan lit up a room when he entered. No matter how bad your day may have before you saw him, a smile would appear out of joy to know good people existed and Benny was truly one of the best.
Mr. Morgan and my father, Pete Kerutis, were best buds. Rotary Club, golf, happy hours at Fishmongers! Oh, the stories they could tell!
Doraine and Benny honored me personally with their attendance at my wedding in New Orleans, Louisiana. 20 years later, it is a gesture I hold deep in my heart with appreciation and joy at their efforts to be a part of MY special day. But that was the Morgans - everyone was family.
On behalf of the Kerutis children, we share in your sadness at the loss of a husband, father and grandfather, but hope you will soon find joy in knowing Benny is well received and surrounded by friends and loved ones that needed his company in the arms of Our Father in Heaven.
Our love is always with the family, an extension of our family.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Morgan. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
With love,
Patti Kerutis Crane

Growing up I knew Benny in Springhill and his older brother Raymond was in my class at school. Benny was very popular in high school and apparently his popularity went with him throughout his life. I lost track of Benny after high school and was sorry to hear of his passing.. I did not know we lived only about 40 miles apart .

We were blessed to have known Benny for over 40 years. We loved him like a brother. So, so many fun times, trips, parties and just family get togethers. The Morgan family always made our family feel Ike we were a part of them. Our children grew up together & were more like brothers & sisters than friends.
Benny was “one of a kind”, always a bright light to be around, always full of stories & jokes. He loved his friends, Golf, having coffee with his buds & garage sales. He will be missed by many. Safe travel good friend. We will catch up with you on the back 9. Rest In Peace
