I'm so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Baccus was my 2nd Grade teacher at Westside Elementary in Angleton in 1989, She was one of my all time favorite teachers because she made learning so much fun. I recall her telling us about an invisible fairy that helped out in the classroom, she often baked treats or Jell-O as class rewards, and she told funny stories about her own childhood and "buried treasures" (i.e., broken glass). I have only fond memories of a wonderfully sweet and caring teacher who truly seemed to love her job and students.

Many blessings to you and your family. My father, Clayton Brasher, always said that Jerrie Marie was one of his favorite cousins.

Gerrie Maree was much loved by her cousin, my father, Thurman Brasher. Tracee and I used to play at my grandmotherís house as kids (Minnie Brasher).

I am sorry to hear of her passing! She was a lovely, kind and caring woman.

I recently moved back to Europe from Texas, and learned of her passing from my stepmom Mary Brasher.

My deepest sympathies for you loss.

Tracy,

Your mom was one of the sweetest women I have ever met. I have lots of memories of her at the beauty shop with my mom. We were blessed with the greatest moms in the world. Take care in the weeks to come.

Gerrie and I spent several years as family and great friends and I loved her like a sister. We played tricks on each other as young married couples and then spent many, many hours together traveling back and fourth to Midwestern. The past few years of being able to reconnect with Tracee, my niece, as an adult, has given me the chance to see Gerrie and spend some time with her again. I'm thankful I had the opportunity to do that. My love goes out to Chris and Sharon.
