I met Tal and Harriet in the fall of 1988 while camping in the US. They have stayed with me in my heart ever since. Harriet's jest for life and strength of individuality has something I have looked back on many time to encourage me to charge forward in life. There was a calmness always about her with an ora of energy that was contagious when around her. I shall miss you my friend, your laugh, your smile , your presence in every family picture I was grateful to see.
May your family not grieve but celebrate in all you taught them and shared throughout your many years.

I always knew Aunt Harriet loved me and I loved her right back. She inspired me in so many ways. She was generous with her smiles and hugs and her joyous art. Some of my earliest memories are of visiting Aunt Harriet and Uncle Tal and my fun cousins, these times gave me a sense of adventure and freedom that stay with me. When she visited us in Malaysia in her 60s, she was up for any adventure, including an extended long boat trip into the wild jungle. I treasure her paintings and all the wonderful memories she gave me during my entire life.

So sad to hear about her passing. I will always remember the trips we took to art museums in Fort Worth. ♥
