Juanita was born to parents, Lawrence Albert & Mary Lou Wilson on April 4, 1926 in Wanita, Texas. She moved to Clute with her husband, Clarence Roland Crocker in 1951, where they raised their five children. Granny raised many children beyond her own. In addition to taking on the job of raising many of her grandkids during the work week and summers, she took in anyone that needed a helping hand. You could stop by on your way to work for coffee and a quick game of Skip-Bo, or any evening for a home cooked meal and a fresh glass of sweet tea. Granny was devoted to her family and extended family. She suffered great loss in her life, but she held herself high and persevered. Her strength could not be matched, and her heart was filled with unconditional love. Her life's work is evident in the lives of those she leaves behind, and she will be lovingly remembered for many generations.
