John "J.D." Durward Collins

J. D. Collins, 41, of Lake Jackson passed away May 21, 2014. He was born Dec. 15, 1972 in Freeport, Texas to Rebecca Hobbs and Johnny Collins. He graduated from Brazoswood High School in 1992. J.D. was a loving and caring to everyone he met. He loved fishing and sports.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, D. B. Drake and John A. Collins, Wayne Crisp, aunt, Janice Bertran, uncle, Jimmy Collins

J.D. is survived by his son: Drew Collins of Arkansas,
mother, Rebecca Hobbs of Lake Jackson,
father, Johnny Collins and wife Melanie of Brazoria,
sister, Billie Tyson of Clute,
step-sister, Heather Lacina of Brazoria,
grandmothers, Billie Drake of Lake Jackson, Tx
Betty Crisp of Bay City, Tx
Myrtle Collins of Brazoria, Tx and
many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will receive friends 1pm until service time 2pm, Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel.
