Alicjia K. Ruefenacht, 81 of Freeport, Texas passed away Monday January 19, 2022 in Pearland.

Alicjia was born on May 22, 1940 in Bronowo, Poland, to Wladyslaw Szymanski and Sofie Buzynski.

She arrived in California in 1959 where she met and married Jesse Ruefenacht on June 1, 1963 in Pacific Grove. After the birth of their son in Tacoma, Washington, they moved to Texas, where they settled in Freeport. Alicjia was employed by the Muchowich family as a housekeeper for several years. She then worked at Kroger and Baywoods as a sacker until her retirement.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Jesse J. Ruefenacht in 1996.

Alicjia is survived by her Son Fredrick D. Ruefenacht and his wife Yvette, her granddaughter Tessa Ruefenacht and grandson Karl Ruefenacht.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 24, 2022 at Restwood Cemetery in Clute, Texas with Pastor Steve Myers officiating. The Family will receive friends at Lakewood Funeral Chapel from 12:00 2 pm Monday January 24, 2022.
