On Tuesday, June 18, 2019, Claire J. Nichols, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 76. Claire was born on September 26, 1942 in Philadelphia, Mississippi to Clarence and Beverley Ward. Claire had a vibrant and witty personality with an open and giving heart, and she was an easy listener who you could tell anything. She loved cross-stitch, cooking, playing Farkle, and just spending time with the people she cared about.

Claire is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Bob; her children, Donice, Teresa, Carol, Kim, Neal and Ben; and loving sister Brenda Rakestraw of Liberty, TX, as well as her eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Second Baptist Church, 1817 Shanks, Angleton, on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 11 o'clock in the morning.
