Cleo Joy Pruitt was born November 11, 1918 in Hamilton County Texas. She passed away September 10, 2020 just 2 months shy of 102 years old. She and her husband Mac Pruitt were a pioneer family moving to Lake Jackson, Texas in June of 1943, with their children Shirley Beth and Ronnie Mac. Cleo was known for her cooking and sewing skills. She made most of her clothes and her daughter's school clothes. She was preceded in death by husband Mac Pruitt and son Ronnie Mac Pruitt. She is survived by daughter Shirley Beth and husband Windel Eaves. Grandchildren Mike Massey and wife Toni, Lisa Liggett and husband Craig, Brad Pruitt and wife Lisa. Great grandchildren Travis Massey, Michelle McEntire, Corie Liggett and Colton Liggett. Great Great grandchild Clayton McEntire. Also, her faithful and loving caregiver of 10 years, Rosie Tidwell and family. Family will receive friends at 10am with the graveside service to follow at 11am on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel.
