Donald E. Sargent, 61, passed away Friday, May 31 in Galveston.

Services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Triumph Angleton, 1280 Hospital Dr., Angleton, TX. Services will start at 3 and eulogy will be conducted by Pastor Sam Beasley of Triumph at 4:00.

Donald is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Libby) Sargent; son, Timothy (Wade) Sargent; daughter, SaVon Sargent; eight grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Ricky. He is also survived by his mother, Tommie Turner; brother, Daniel Sargent; sister, Robin Turner; and numerous cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Travis Sargent; and two brothers, Dexter and Kevin Sargent.

Donald served four years in the Navy. He loved animals of any sort and was considered "The Animal Whisperer." He also enjoyed being outside tinkering with things and had a knack for plants.
