Doris passed away peacefully at her home in Jones Creek, TX on Friday, February 2, 2024. She is proceeded in death by her mother Emmy King, sister Dorothy Cottle and grandson Casey Whitworth.

She is survived by her husband Johnny Kitchens of Jones Creek, TX, sisters Mayo and Hattie Boone of Warsaw, NC, daughter Shonda Windsor and Tim Adkins of Section A1, son Stacy and Kim Kitchens of Lake Jackson.

grandchildren Charles and Ariel Whitworth Jr. of Cullman AL, Amy Whitworth and Joshua Hall of Brazoria TX, Justin and Leslie Whitworth of Oyster Creek TX, Shaun Wheeler of Lake Jackson Tx

Great grandchildren Chloe Harvey, Maycee and Kyleigh McCoy, Cole, Brantley, Kason and Kamden Whitworth and Jose Lara.

Doris was a longtime active member of the local Eagles (FOE) and Elks Lodge.

Doris was loved dearly by her family and friends and will truly be missed by all.
