On May 18th 2024, Dorothy Ann Boomhower passed away in her sleep after losing her battle with cancer. She is survived by her sisters Susie & Jerry; son Eddie Boomhower & granddaughter Kara; daughter in law Sandra Boomhower & grandson Kolten & wife Randi, great grandchildren Barrett, Raylinn, & Emma; son Lance Boomhower & wife DeEllen, grandson James & wife Kellie, great grandchildren James & Kase, granddaughter Sara, grandson Ely; & numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons ''Skipper'' & ''Jimmy''; sisters Sandy & Pauline.

''Gramma Dotty'' as many knew her; moved to Texas in the early 70's & was a home maker who enjoyed raising her sons, gardening, knitting, crafts, & playing cards with friends. She was very involved in church, the churches social activities, & eventually babysitting in the church nursery. She was also involved in babysitting or a living after raising her 4 sons. She loved her time teaching youth for a few years. She especially loved watching her grandchildren & great grandchildren growing & learning. She was a loving & joyous person the be around & she tried to spread that love & joy to all whom she encountered throughout her life. While we will miss her dearly; We will also celebrate the wonderful life she was blessed with. We know the Lord has welcomed her with open arms…she is home!
