Funeral services for Eileen McMillan Koenig, age 77, of Freeport Texas will be held at 10:00 am on December 22, 2023 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with Father Chris Weis officiating. The family will receive friends at Lakewood Funeral Chapel at 9:30 on December 22, 2023.

Biographical information:

Born December 28, 1945 in Beaumont Texas and passed away peacefully after a long illness on December 17, 2023. Eileen held several clerical positions that she enjoyed such as Freeport Intermediate School and Brazoria County Fairgrounds. She had a great love of people and was quick with a smile. She loved working in her flower garden and greatly enjoyed her dogs. Special thanks to Laura Rosa with Carebuilders at Home for taking such great care of her.

Survivors include:

Partner Bruce Whalen, daughter Lisa Steiner, son Michael Koenig, (Lisa), granddaughter Shelby Stevenson (Guy), Callie Koenig and great granddaughter Paisley Stevenson.
