On July 8, 2026 Eric Wayne Hebert went to be with the Lord. Eric was a man who would give you the shirt off his back. He dedicated 37 years of his life to Dow Chemical/Olin and 20 years to the Go Texan committee, where he more recently gained his lifetime membership. As a pillar in his community, Eric spent many years coaching Little League baseball and serving as a mentor to countless individuals, both inside and outside of the workplace. While his mastery of hunting, fishing and barbecue was well known, he will be remembered most for being a deeply devoted, father, husband, and friend. 

He is survived by his mother, Alberta Marie Zirlott Hebert; his children, Joshua (Maggie) Hebert, Heather Jurek (children: Peyton, Tyler, and Charlie), Cody (Kenzi) Abbt (children: Levi, Ellizyn, Ellie, and Dawson), and Chance Abbt (children: Alayna, Emersyn, and Adisyn); and his siblings, Patricia Hopkins, Malcolm Hebert, Winona Spinks, and Chris Hebert, along with their families. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy John Hebert. Although, it’s a common feeling that Eric is gone too soon, his memory will live on forever.

The Celebration of life for Eric Wayne Hebert will be on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Jones Creek Community house, 7207 Stephen F. Austin Road, Jones Creek, Tx 77541.
