Ernest Lee Canfield ''Bruce'' passed away suddenly on May 10, 2026, at 6:28 p.m. at his home in Oyster Creek. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Ray Canfield and mother Judy Miller. He is survived by his daughter Avelan Canfield, his siblings, and his many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly. Ernie was a devoted 49ers fan and especially loved spending time at the beach, where he found joy and peace.
