Funeral services for George Clinton Pyle, age 83, of Lake Jackson will be held at 11 a.m. on January 26, 2019 at St. Timothy's with Father Brendan Kimbrough officiating. Interment will be held at Houston National Cemetery.

Clinton was born on April 9, 1935 in Houston, Texas to Velmar and Ivy Pyle. He graduated with a business degree from Texas A&M in 1956 and worked as a purchasing agent for Dow Chemical and Johnson control. He was married to Carolyn Smith Pyle for 51 years and together they had four children.

Survivors include his children, Angela Pyle McCabe and Michael McCabe, Meredith Pyle, Jared and Laura Pyle, Richard Pyle; and his three grandchildren, Matthew, Grant and Logan.

Pallbearers will be Jared Pyle, Richard Pyle, Michael McCabe, Matthew McCabe, Casey Jones and Grant Townsend.
