Gail was born in Abilene, TX on March 10, 1956 to Johnnie and Juanita Messenger. Gail was raised up riding horses and enjoyed such hobbies as reading, card games and her most favorite...painting. Gail was very close with her parents and never missed an opportunity to spend

time with them. Gail's greatest loves were her children and grandkids. Becoming a nana was one of the happiest days of her life.

Survivors include her three children, Johnnie Platt and wife Heather, Lewis Platt Jr. And wife Crystal, and Kristy Anders and husband Andrew. She also survived by her brothers Jimmie and Donnie Joe Messenger, as well as 8 grandchildren (Daylan, Jordan, Kuy, Koy, Ryker, Austin, Vanessa, Dawson) and 2 great-grandchildren (Aubrey and Gauge).

Gail was preceded in death by her parents Johnnie and Juanita Messenger.
