Joe A. "Tattoo" Manriquez Jr., 58, passed away at home in Freeport, Texas, on November 24, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.

Joe was born on July 28, 1963 in Galveston, Texas, to Aurora Martinez and Joe Manriquez. Joe didn't have any children but he loved his nieces and nephews and treated them as if they were his own. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world.

Joe is preceded in death by his mother Aurora Martinez and brother Larry Rodriquez.

He is survived by his siblings, Marlon (Theresa) Thomas, Carrie and Donald Ray Thomas Jr.; nieces and nephews, Amber, Courtney and Jerry Higgins III, Marlon (Jillian) and Andrew Thomas; multiple great nieces and nephews and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held Friday December 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at 815 North Avenue D in Freeport, Texas 77541.
