Joseph Tidwell Joseph “Joe” Tidwell was born December 30 1957, and was welcomed back home on August 30, 2026. Joe was one of those rare, genuinely good souls—full of warmth, kindness, and a willingness to lend a hand whenever someone needed him. He loved his family deeply, and you could always count on Joe to show up, help out, or simply be there. He worked as an electrician, a profession that suited him well, and he took pride in working in and serving his community. Joe had a quick wit and a natural gift for making people laugh. He was a proud Texans fan and had enough Texans shirts to fill every day of the week. He loved talking football, although he knew better than to say anything negative about Dallas —he was likely to get reamed for it! Tough love. But he took like a champ! He was easygoing, fun-loving, and always up for just about any adventure we could throw his way—and there were plenty of them. His presence made life a little lighter, his laughter a little louder, and the memories a whole lot sweeter. Joe placed his trust in our Heavenly Father, and we find comfort knowing that he has now gone to rest in His arms. Though Joe has left this earth, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will remain with us forever. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Betty Tidwell. And his sister Barbara Tidwell. He is survived by his beloved family: Maria and her five children and her children and their families—Adam (Pam) and their eight children; Annabel (Jessie) and their seven children and 19 grandchildren; Rudy (April) and their four children; Randall (Lorie) and their four children ; and Sarah (Bryce) and their two children. Cousins; Omar, Wes,Eddie and Shawna Uncle;Herschel Tidwell Joe’s life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest peacefully, Joe.
