Judith Ann Powers of Jones Creek, born on October 24, 1947, passed away on August 22, 2025. Judith lived a life marked by love, adventure, and creativity. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Judith graduated from Brazosport High School in 1964. She played many sports in High School. Her love for sports carried over to a love for watching NASCAR and drag-racing. She was a long resident of Jones Creek, Texas where she made many friends. Judith was known for her passion for gardening, her artistic talent in writing, and her unwavering dedication to her family. She found joy in the simple things, like a sunny day spent tending her flowers and her many animals. Judith's warm smile and kind heart left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Survivors include sister Linda Maxwell and husband Jack Maxwell. Sister-in-law Coleen McAlpine. Brother-in-law Jerry Powers. Son Scott Soell & daughter in law Mikki Soell. Daughter Kari Fish. Grandchildren Emma Fish, Landon Soell, & Samantha Herrera. Many nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by parents Joe D. McAlpine and Martha Ann McAlpine. Brothers John David McAlpine and Herbert Douglas McAlpine. Husband Will T. Powers.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13th at 11:30am at Gulf Prairie Presbyterian Church in Jones Creek.
