Kenneth Lee Ponder age 81 passed away on July 7, 2023 in Houston, TX. He was born in Athens, TX on December 18, 1941. And moved to the Brazosport area when he was 7 years old. Kenneth graduated from Brazosport High School in 1960. A few years later he moved to Houston and settled there. At the time of retirement, he was employed at National Oilwell Varco. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Marilyn Ponder. Son Clint Ponder spouse Margarita Trevino of Sugarland, TX. Son Roy Ponder spouse Chris Ponder of McKinney, TX. His son Ted Ponder of Houston, TX. Daughter Lisa Hernandez spouse John Hernandez of Rosenberg, TX. Grandchildren are Dylan, Cristian, Dalton & Amaris Ponder. Per the request of Kenneth, no services will be held. His final remains will be at Restwood Cemetary in Lake Jackson, TX.
