Peggy Ann Herveau also known as Peggy Ann Blanton died December 13, 2020 at approximately 6:00 a.m. at the age of 70.

Peggy was the surviving daughter of Dolores G. Spain and Charles J. Herveau. Peggy was born May 4, 1950 in Wisconsin but has always considered herself a child of Louisiana and New Orleans. Peggy left Louisiana as a young adult to settle in Brazoria County Texas where she established a long career as a nurse ultimately retiring from the Brazosport Memorial Hospital where she served as an ER nurse and director of emergency services.

Peggy is best remembered by her friends and family as a compassionate friend and a dedicated loving mother.

Peggy is survived by her three boys, Max Anson Blanton, 43, Daniel Lee Blanton, 39, and Jacob Ryan Blanton, 37. She is also survived by her six grandchildren. Anson Joseph Blanton, 7, son of Max and Erin Blanton. Jack Riley Blanton (her first grandchild), 11, Gunnar Lee Blanton, 7, and Lucas D Blanton, 5, sons of Daniel and Heather Blanton. Jacob William Blanton, 5, and Evelyn Clair Blanton, 2, son and daughter of Jacob and Angela Blanton.

A private gathering will be held at the Lakewood funeral home this Friday to remember Peggy.
