Mary Jane Spacek of Angleton, passed away at age 71 on Dec 3, 2023. She grew up in Newgulf and later lived in Wharton.

She is preceded by her parents Ruby Mae (Pokrant) and Edward Paul Konvicka from Boling and brother Robert 'Bubba' Konvicka from Wharton.

Survived by her husband Steve Charles Spacek of Angleton; daughter and son-in-law Shelley Renee and James (Jim) Edward Sumruld of West Columbia; grandson Ryan Christopher Hlavaty of Lake Jackson. Her sisters Deborah Gail Konvicka of Boling and Joyce Elaine Waligura, brother-in-law Wally Waligura of Fredericksburg; and sister-in-law Mary Monica Konvicka of Wharton.
