Michel Diane Barber, 69, of Brazoria passed away February 6th, 2024. Michel was born April 28, 1954 to Samuel and Mary Morrison in Tokyo, Japan. She attended Valley High School in Louisville, Kentucky and afterwards settled in Texas where she met and married the love of her life Lonnie Barber. She was the wonderful mother to two sons, Lucas and Jason Isaacs. She was the proud grandmother of three granddaughters, Allie, Emmie & Izzy Isaacs.

While raising her children in Brazoria she loved spending her time crappie fishing at Harris reservoir. She was a skilled crafter and enjoyed sewing and quilting. She loved being a sports mom where she made long lasting friends with the other moms and drove around loads of kids in her beloved Chevy conversion van. She always looked forward to her Canton trips with her group of friends. She loved spending time back home in Kentucky, where she was lovingly referred to as MiMi, camping out at Otter Creek with her large family. Michel was the third oldest of nine children, and she cherished each of her brothers and sisters and a large network of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lonnie, brother Samuel Morrison, and sister Theresa TT Morrison.

She is survived by her son Lucas Isaacs of Brazoria. Son Jason Isaacs and wife Ashley of Danciger. Three granddaughters Allie, Emmie & Izzy Isaacs of Danciger. Brothers, Mike Morrison (Jamie), John Morrison (Penny), Scott Morrison and Steven Morrison (Leeann). Sisters, Tesha Schenck (Ray) all of Kentucky and Missy Minter of Florida. Also left to cherish her memories are numerous nieces and nephews, their spouses and children.

Funeral services will be held at Brazoria First Methodist Church on Thursday, February 15th, 2024 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Joshua Bynum officiating.
