Memorial services for Richey Alexander Wallis, 84, of Lake Jackson will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, November 1, at First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson. The family will receive friends at 3:00pm until the time of the service. Richey was born on November 19, 1933 in Lubbock, Texas. He went to his heavenly home on Saturday, October 27, 2018.

Richey Alexander Wallis was born on November 19, 1933 in Lubbock, Texas. He went to his heavenly home on Saturday, October 27, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by sisters Peggy, Ann, Kay, Mildred, and Bobby.

He is survived by his wife, Katy Hendricks Wallis, sister, Martha Sharpe, brother, Robert Wallis, and numerous nieces and nephews, and by Katy's children Ronnie Hendricks (Liz), Trish Zweighaft (Ron), and Penny Baker (Bruce), nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren who lovingly knew him as "Grampy".

Honorary pallbearers are Tony Whiddon, Chuck Stone, Russell Williams, Dick Williams, Keith Wallis and Randy Sharpe.

Katy thanks all who have cared for and prayed for Richey throughout his illnesses. A special thanks goes to those associated with A-Med Hospice, and to caregivers Shevon and Ellen.
