In Loving Memory of Robert Wade ''Bob'' Ashley

November 10, 1966 - November 13, 2025

Robert Wade Ashley, affectionately known as ''Bob'' by family and friends, passed away peacefully at his home in Houston, Texas, on November 13, 2025, at the age of 59.

Born on November 10, 1966, to Linda Sue (Walker) Martin and Douglas Wade Ashley, Bob was lovingly raised by his grandparents, Jim Wade (JW) and Callie Louise Ashley. He grew up in Brazoria County and spent most of his life in Lake Jackson, Texas. A proud graduate of Brazoswood High School, Bob also attended Brazosport College.

Bob had a deep love for learning, connecting with others, and immersing himself in music and horror films. A talented musician, he played bass guitar and keyboard, and was skilled in recording and producing multi-track songs for local rock bands. He was a vibrant part of the Lake Jackson music scene, known for hosting energetic punk rock jam sessions and shows at Jasmine Hall. Though he appreciated all genres, heavy metal held a special place in his heart.

He is also remembered by numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
