Tammy Mixon, of Freeport, Texas, formerly of Clute, Texas, has passed away.

She loved to travel and she explored Nebraska, Iowa, Florida, California, and back to Texas. She worked on a shrimp boat for eight years. She married Jim Mixon on April 21, 2021. She was a great mother and wife.

Tammy is survived by her father, Tracy Lloyd Clayton; mother, Alice Mare Evans; stepfather, Sam Jacobson; sister, Lanita Marie Roberts; brothers, Lloyd D Clayton and Samuel Joe Jacobson; three children, Roxanne Ferdig, Ricky Ferdig, and Shelby Ferdig; grandbabies, Jasper Madic, Elija King, Ethan King, Brianna Moon; nephews, Shawn Gaither (deceased), Ryan Gaither, and Clyde D Clayton; nieces, Lacey Jacobson; aunts, Mary Hudson, Louise Stephenson, and Edith Hensley; uncle, Jerry Hensley

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Lakewood Funeral Chapel, 98 Dixie Dr, Lake Jackson, Texas 77566.
