Thomas "Tommy" Blackerby (83) of Lake Jackson, TX passed away Wednesday February 15, 2023 in his home.

Tommy was born April 6, 1939 in Rubottom, OK. to Ola Lowery and Perry Blackerby. He graduated from Fox High School in 1959.

He went on to marry Angelina Flores on May 5, 1961 in Goliad, TX.

Tommy was a kind soul who went out of his way for family and friends. He was also a hard worker who spent most of his time with family. He enjoyed gardening, fixing things, collecting trinkets, coins, pins and stamps. He also loved going to the beach to look for treasures.

Tommy is survived by his wife of 63 years, Angelina Blackerby; and his 2 children: Thomas Blackerby and Maribel Andrade Gonzalez; 4 grandchildren: Thomas Joel Griffin Blackerby, Damian Malaki Andrade, Jonathan Elijah Andrade and Julian Israel Gonzalez. As well as friends and family who all loved him and will miss him greatly.
