Thomas Johnson, 85, of Houston, Texas, passed away on September 7, 2025. He was born on July 26, 1940, in Cleburne, Texas, to Alvin and LonOla Johnson.

Thomas proudly served in the United States Army before beginning his career as an electrician. He later retired from Union Pacific Railroad. Thomas loved music and was a talented trumpet player. He could often be heard singing or humming his favorite songs and hymns.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Anne Johnson; his children Wendy Pratt, Bonnie Boswell (and husband Bobby), Daniel Johnson (and wife Aida), Jill Johnson, Holly Lonzo (and husband Justin) 12 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Albert Johnson; his sister, Shirley Hyder; and his son, Jimmy Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Arlo Pratt, Xavier Lonzo, Garrett Pratt, Nathan Lonzo, Quentin Lonzo, and Juan Carlos Ampudia.

Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Lakewood Funeral Chapel in Clute Texas, with a graveside service at 1:00pm.
