Judith Ann Penvose, 78, was born September 25, 1940 to Vernon and Ruth Campbell in Huntington, WV. She was called to heaven September 27, 2018 after a 21 month battle with cancer.
Ann was a hardworking homemaker, an animal lover, an avid golfer with two hole-in-ones to her credit and at one time a hospice volunteer. She loved the outdoors and doing yardwork but most of all she loved cooking for and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Ruth Gayle Penvose, brother Dick Campbell, sisters Mildred Campbell and Jane Miller, in-laws Ralph and Velma Penvose, Barbara Penvose Morrison, Harry Blevins and Lois Campbell. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of nearly 58 years Tom Penvose, daughter and "son" Lisa and Russell Monaghan, grandchildren Devin Monaghan, Christopher Monaghan and wife Charli. Great granddaughter Madison Monaghan and one on the way Harper Ann Monaghan. Sisters Jackie Blevins, Verna Thomas and husband Jack. Best friend Melba Seymour and beloved dog Gracie. A celebration of her life will be held Monday, October 1st, 2pm at Lakewood Funeral Chapel in Lake Jackson with B.J. McCurdy of New Shores Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Cancer Society 1-800-227-2345 or online donate3.cancer.org or to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society 1-888-557-7177 or online donate.lls.org/lls/donate

I didn't have the honor to know Mrs. Penvose, but have worked with her loving daughter Lisa for a little more than a year. I have heard so many wonderful things about her!

I pray for peace and comfort for all of you during the days, weeks and years to come. ❤

My heartfelt condolences to the family! So many cherished childhood memories of time with the Penvoses. Remember the fun camping trips and going across country in the RV? :) Mrs. Penvose was a beautiful woman and role model.

Aunt Ann will be missed, but her laughter, and spirit will live in all of us who loved her. She, Gayle, GrandMa, GrandPa, my Dad and so many are rejoicing with her in Heaven. In but a blink of an eye, we will all be together again.
