On November 19, 2018, Jeffrey Allen Fry came face-to-face with his Lord and Savior. He was born August 15, 1951 in Lebanon, IN to Alfred Joseph Fry and Carolyn "Jeanette" Haag. In 1969 Jeff joined the Marine Corp. In the late 1970's he moved to Texas. In 1985, he met the former Denise Ann Johnson of Cadillac, MI. On November 28, 1987, Jeff and Denise were married in Lafayette, IN. Out of this union, three children were born: Stefanie, Aaron, and Allison. Jeff was ALWAYS there, under any circumstance, for his children. Because of this they deeply loved and respected him. Jeff worked as a Pipefitter for Tri-Con for over 20 years. At age 50, Jeff received an Associate's Degree in Computer Hardware Maintenance from Brazosport College. He joined the Lowe's team in 2008. Jeff was an integral part of FUMC, Lake Jackson. He was a very faithful servant, never missing a Sunday. He served as an acolyte and usher for the 8 AM Chapel Service and started a 9 AM Sunday School class called the Bereans. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Jeff was a fantastic cook and loved golf, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Left to mourn his passing is his beloved wife, Denise, three children as well as his four grandsons Corbin (11), Ricky (7) Lyle Jeffrey (4), and Ivan (2), and sisters, Marilyn (Bruce) Dilling, and Resa (Tom) Wells. He is preceded in death by his father, mother and brother, Jon.
