John was my cousin, as his dad, my Uncle Ed was my dad's younger sibling. I looked forward to his Christmas cards each year, where he would write of his hunting success and garden harvests. I didn't know him very well, but I knew he was a faithful servant of our Lord and was very involved with his church. I was fortunate to meet up with John, Uncle Ed, and Ed's wife Eunice when I visited Houston in the late 80's or early 90's.
I know he will be missed by all that knew him. May God bless his soul and may he rest in eternal peace.

John Rosser was a beloved classmate in the Sweeny class of 1964 where he proudly soared academically. Even back in then, he stood out from the crowd of teenagers. When he was around, all could sense that he was highly intelligent, humble, and a devout man of faith in our Lord. He was a person of integrity and goodness. How we would all like to be remembered in that way! I will miss him and I know all who knew John will miss him, too.

I will miss my dear friend and deacon, especially at every service at church where he so faithfully served frequently. May he rest in peace with Our Lord in Heaven. The beautiful tabernacle he so generously donated will be a constant reminder of him. We worked together at Dow Texas Division in the same group for a while. I always enjoyed his company. My condolences to the family. i was proud to serve as one of his pall bearers.

John was an inspiration to us all. He was always at the church early in the morning when Dick picked up the Eucharist for prison ministry. He was always there when Barbara had Saturday afternoon chapel hour, to set up for Mass. No one ever took better care or showed more attention to detail for our church. He was truly a devoted servant, an inspiration, and will be greatly missed
