Peanut (Dennis James) Grahmann
Received his wings and went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2018. He passed unexpectedly, but peacefully, in his sleep. Peanut was born December 22, 1947 in Hallettsville, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Annie Grahmann. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Jeanie, his son Dennis Ray and granddaughter, McKenzie of Lake Jackson, TX, and daughter Kimberly Ferguson of Jones Creek, TX. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Albert and wife Donna of East Bernard, TX; Benedict and wife Betty of Spring Branch, TX; Bernice Baca and husband Manuel of N. Little Rock, AK; Beatrice Colbath and Pat Stahl of Danbury, TX; Bridget Estelle and husband Mac of Round Rock, TX; and Joyce Grahmann and Albert Hernandez of Pleasanton, TX. He is also survived by his precious boys Rusty Ray, Riley Ray, Kobi Rae and Yogi Rae, his dachshund dogs that he so loved. Peanut formerly worked for Dow Chemical where he retired in December of 2014 from the Rigging Department. Shortly after, he went to work for Brazoria County Precinct 2, where he drove a dump truck. He had the joy of being an uncle to many nieces and nephews, and had more good friends that can be listed! He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Memorial Services will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at BrazosPointe Fellowship, 679 Hwy 332 W, Lake Jackson, TX 77566. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peanut (Dennis James) Grahmann's name to Ducks Unlimited at www.ducks.org. I have had the privilege of knowing this man for over 50 years, and the privilege of having him for a brother-in-law for 49 years. He was a truly generous, funny, big hearted man and he will be greatly missed. Eternal rest to you,Peanut - your work here on earth is done and now you are up in Heaven with everyone there who loves you!
