Adelita Mendez Arroyo, 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March, 6th, 2019. When Grandma would enter a room the whole place would light up. She was loved by so many, and rightfully so. Her heart and generosity knew no bounds. Her door was always open. Her smile and laugh will be missed by all. A women with immeasurable love and so many kind words. She always made everyone feel special. A loyal wife, a loving mother, a fun grandma, a cuddly big grandma and a best friend. One of her life time greatest achievements was serving 30 plus years at Brazosport Memorial Hospital, which she considered her second family. She lived a beautiful life. I know that she is in heaven right now rejoicing with the Lord and her loved ones. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Jesus Arroyo; her kids, Domingo Escobedo Jr., Patricia Escobedo, Carlos Arroyo, Patricia Guevara, Eva Arroyo and Hotencia Toledo; 13 grandkids and 11 great grandkids. Pallbearers will be son, Carlos Arroyo; and grandsons, T.J Pena, Paul Pena, George Prince III, Javier Guevara and Alex Arroyo. Honorary Pall bearer will be son, Domingo Escobedo Jr. Funeral services will be Monday, March 11th at 10:30 a.m. at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel in Lake Jackson, 98 N Dixie Dr.
