  • Guestbook
James Lee "Jimbo" Kramer, 56, of Clute, Texas was accompanied safely by the angels into God's presence on Thursday, March 5, 2020. He was born March 18, 1963 in Freeport, Texas to John Arthur Kramer and Ruby Ray Kramer.

Jimbo is survived by his sister, Dianna Reich and husband Bruno of Clute, brother, Robert (Rob) Kramer of Angleton. Nieces and nephews: Bridgette Percle, Carly New, Brad Reich (Amanda), Melissa Kramer, Taniesha Canova, Emma New, Allyson Toliver and Jaxson Smith; numerous grand nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother John C. (Chuck) Kramer.

He worked for Brazoria County Work Activity Center for many years and attended TLC Dayhab in Angleton, Texas. Jimbo was a member of the First Baptist Church of Angleton, Texas. Jimbo loved music, his artwork, being the self-appointed band manager of the Bad Habit Band and he especially loved his church family. He never met a stranger and touched the hearts of everyone he encountered. If he wasn't singing and playing music on his guitar he was cuttin' a rug on the dance floor. He lit up every room he entered and will forever be remembered for his smile and all the joy he brought to those around him.

Pallbearers will be: Brad Reich, Jeromy New, Al Percle, Colton Reich, Conner Percle and Kyler New. Honorary Pallbearers: Bad Habit Band (Steve Rosser, Mark Blevins & Ditto Speers)

The family would like to give a very special thank you to our loving TLC family and AMED hospice team.

The family will receive friends 5:30 until 7pm Monday, March 9th at Lakewood Funeral Chapel (98 Dixie Drive, Clute, Tx 77531). Funeral services will be 10:00am Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Lakewood with Rev. Jason Morse of Deer Park officiating. Graveside services will follow at Gulf Prairie Cemetery in Jones Creek.

In Lieu of flowers please make donations in Jimbo's memory to TLC Dayhab, 933 E. Mulberry, Angleton, Texas 77515.

Jimbo had a heart of gold and was always so happy to see me anytime I came around. He made everyone feel good about themselves. We are very sad to hear of Jimbo's passing and will always cherish the wonderful memories of love and protection that Ruby Ray, Poncho, Diana, Chuck and Robby provided him as a very supporting family.

Dear precious family, I was so sad to read about our dear Jimbo. I remember him from when he was a little boy in our TARS group. I just found a picture of him back in the day that I had saved all these years. He made a huge impact on my heart and he will forever be remembered as one special guy! My heart is warmed just thinking about him and his infectious smile. I am praying for all of you in this difficult time. Much love, Cindy McDonald Mann

Dearest Dianna, Bruno and Family,
I just saw that our delightful JImbo has passed over to heaven. I treasure all of the years that he was at the Fair where we got to visit. I remember his love for the music and especially loved seeing you, Dianna, and Jimbo, dance. I know that he enriched your lives as he did those of us around him. May God bless you and comfort you. Love and hugs, Linda

I had the immense pleasure of knowing Jimbo through working with him at TLC. He was always a joy to see every morning. He certainly made my day every single day. I loved hearing him sing his most favorite song, having silly conversations, and taking silly pictures with him. He will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. This world has certainly gotten a little darker without his special light to brighten it.

We lived in the Richwood neighborhood when our older 3 children were born Brandi, Lil Greg & Kelli. We moved when they were (B -7), (LG-2), & (K-6 months) to Dallas. (B) lives in Danbury, she sent me his obituary. I knew who he was immediately. I never knew he was a year older than me.
So sorry that he passed away. Keeping his family in my prayers. Heaven has received a true angel. 😇
