George Woodrow Pedersen, 85, of Richwood went to be with our Lord on July 16, 2011 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Pensacola, Florida on January 1, 1926. He served honorably in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII.
Private family services were held on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made in his memory to the charity of your choice.
Honorary Pallbearers were Thomas Pedersen, Cody Pedersen, Clenn Hill, Ronnie Snow, Christer Mattsson, and Bradley Elliot.
George was preceded in death by his Dad Jorgen Augustus Pedersen, Mom Lillian Pedersen, brothers Lewis and Raymond Pedersen and grandson Jody Martinets.
He was survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Euline Pedersen;
daughters Nancy Jones and husband W.A. Jones of Richwood, Jane Kay Snow and husband Ronnie of Angleton, Dana Mattsson and husband Chris of Lake Jackson, son Tommy Pedersen and wife DeAnna of Angleton;
grandchildren: Trixie MacCall and husband Jack, Delane Elliott and husband Bradley, Mia Mattsson, Cody Pedersen, Kailee Pedersen, Renee Liddback, Rhonda Cole, great grandchildren: Cade and Cole McCall, Lisa, Jill, Steven, Natalie, Nicole, Nathan Lidback, Emma, Abigail and Lilly Cole.
