Karson Jace Villarreal was 17 months old and went to be with our Lord on September 9, 2018 at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, TX. He is preceded in death by his aunt, Brittney Nicole Ybarra. Karson is survived by his parents, Devin and Courtney Villarreal, of Bay City; his grandparents, Rito and Tiffany Galvan, of Bay City, Chris and Laura Taylor, of Bay City, Roy Ybarra of Wild Peach, and Alfred Villarreal of Victoria, TX; great-grandparents, Lee and Linda Watson, of Bay City, Harry and Sherry Magness, of Tyler, TX, Kenny and Debbie Matus, of Victoria, Max and Clara Zavala, of Jones Creek, Paul and Molly Moody of Goliad, and Paul and Carol Villarreal, of Port Lavaca, TX; great great-grandparents, Lois Jean Taylor, of Bay City, and Joy Platte, of Powderhorn, TX. Pallbearers include his uncles, Nick Ybarra, Rito Galvan, Christian and Cameron Flores, all of Bay City, TX. Funeral services will be at the First Baptist Church of Clute, officiated by Rev. Lee Watson on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held Friday evening, September 14, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel in Clute, TX.
