Michael James Swansey "Swan", 63, passed away November 20, 2018 in Erath, LA. He was surrounded by family, friends and his wild A** grandkids. Swan was known for being a great dad, great Paw Paw, great fisherman, great friend, HELL…… great everything! He was the "father figure" to many and loved them as his own. He will be remembered for his "great jokes and one liners". Swan had a look that could kill, but a heart gold. He loved hard, worked hard and in the last few years of his life, FOUGHT HARD, against maybe the only opponent he couldn't beat, Alzheimer's! He was welcomed into Heaven by his Mom and Dad, sister, brothers, and his best friend, Mister (his lab). His legacy will be carried on by his son, Michael James Swansey II, his daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Delcambre, husband, Stoney; his wife of 20 years (ex J), Elizabeth Swansey; his sister, Teresa Mageors, husband Steve; his grandchildren, Rudy Michael and Ryanne Grace and numerous nieces, nephews and tons of friends and family. He will be greatly missed but we know he is upstairs "RIPpin lip" Join us for his Celebration of Life, Sunday, November 25th 2:00 pm (Visitation 1:00 pm) Lakewood Funeral Home, Lake Jackson, Texas. (In lieu of flowers, please donate to Brazoria County Alzheimer's Awareness Project ,(979) 308-4525
