Today is March 29th and I just found out about Mrs. Hindman's death. I am so sad as I have been trying to locate her in the nursing homes around here but never thought to call Bay City. My twin sister and I use to babysit Gary and / or stay at their house while my parents, John and Freddie Slade would go out with the Hindman's. They were always so sweet to me and my sister, and very good friends with my parents. I remember one night they had the record player going and they wanted my sister and Into show all 4 of them how to do the "Twist". So we did but they couldn't get the hang of it. It was so funny. I also remember that Mrs Hindman had a really unique faucet in her kitchen and I would always want to clean any dirty dishes she might have as I thought the faucet was so cool! Anyway, Gary and nephews I am so sorry for your loss. Your parents Gary were so kind and great friends to my parents.
Sorry I was not able to find her so I could visit her as that was something I would have cherished.
