An Quoc Tran was born June 12, 1940 in Phan Rang, Vietnam and passed away July 2, 2021, at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife Loi Nguyen; his four children: Tram Tran, Anh-Trang (Hoang) Tran, ThuyTrang (Andrew Gwynn) Tran and Huy (Tina) Tran; his nine grandchildren: Vivie, Minnie and Kolby Tran, Anthony and Benjamin Gwynn, and Alina, Aiden, Aaron (deceased), and Nathan Tran; as well as many siblings, extended family, and dear friends around the world. He was known as a strong, wise, and loving man, and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

In alignment with An's wishes, there will be no service. We ask that any memorial contributions are made to MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. KADIA's Leukemia Research, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, Texas 77210-4486.

We would like to give a special thank you to the staff at both MD Anderson in Houston, Texas and St. Luke's Health-Brazosport Hospital in Lake Jackson, Texas, for the compassionate care and support they provided him.
