Funeral services for Roy Payton Tomlin, age 58, of Rosenburg, TX will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, May 21st at The Freedom House in Freeport, TX with Kevin Clark officiating.

Roy Payton Tomlin was born in Rosenburg, TX on April 18, 1963. He later moved to Brazoria County and pursued a career in industrial painting. Roy was a loving husband, father, paw paw, son and brother. Roy enjoyed fishing, karaoke, spending time with his family and friends and loving his wife. He brought with him a tender heart and a smile on his face wherever he went. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Roy is survived by his wife, Cindy Tomlin, Sister, Cynthia Barton, brother, James Tomlin and wife Debrah Tomlin, brother Johnny Tomlin Jr. and wife Diana Tomlin, children Marty Holladay and Wendy Holladay, grandchildren Kaylene Boudreaux, Brittany Holladay, Cassidy Swenson, Brandon Wilson and Marty Holladay. Roy is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Roy is preceded in death by his mother, Jeanene Tomlin, father, Johnny Tomlin Sr and brother Tommy Tomlin.

Sorry to hear about Roy. He was a good and funny guy... gone too soon.. I can hear him up there singing now.. and Cindy telling him to stop lol. He loved to sing to her but she couldn't take it lol. I would watch them two and just crack up.

Our hearts go out to Cindy and the family. Roy was a funny guy who LOVED singing karaoke. We always had a good time hanging out with him. He will be missed!
