Tommie Louise McCoslin, 68, of Brazoria, Texas passed away unexpectedly on November 26, 2022 at Oak Village Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lake Jackson Texas. She was there to recover from a stroke and receiving Physical Therapy to learn to walk again to come home to her family for the holidays. Unfortunately she was not able to make it back home with her loving family before her passing only days before being released. This is a great loss for her family and she will be truly missed.

Tommie was born on July 22, 1954 in Freeport, Texas to T.B. Groves and Velma Erin Wyatts Groves. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Celina Villegas and son in law Alex, her grandchildren; Rumaldo Villegas and wife Jacky, Xavier Villegas and wife Tiffany, Cacillia Villegas, Jasmin Villegas, and Mischa Villegas. Her brothers Mike Groves and wife Lynda, John Groves and wife Teresa and sister Carol Venable and husband Charles along with a host of nieces, nephews and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Mike McCoslin, her parents T.B. and Velma Groves, great granddaughter Penelope Villegas and her aunts and uncles.

Tommie was a member of the crafty club and enjoyed making crafts, it was one of her passions. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Tommie truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures she enjoyed; movies, reading, board games, chatting with friends and family. Her fondest times were spent with her daughter, grand children and great grand children. She had the biggest heart and would always help those in need when possible. Tommie will be extremely missed by her family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
