Bill Joseph Mancuso, Sr.

Bill was born at home in Lake Charles, LA to the late Frank and Sarah Mancuso.

Bill moved to Freeport, TX in 1949. He attended Brazosport High School where he met the love of his life, Barbera. Bill then enlisted in the Navy in 1954 serving 4 years aboard the submarine USS Bang, part of which was durning the Korean War.

He married Barbera Sue Eisenhuth on June 8, 1957. After finishing his career in the Navy he moved to Clute, Tx.

Bill worked for Dow Chemical as an operator for 33.7 years, obtained his airplane pilot license in 1966, built several steel hull shrimp boats, Motorhomed the US through 47 states, retired and found a passion for old Chevrolet's.

Bill restored 6 vintage Chevrolet's from a 1926 - 1972. He and Barbera made many friends in the car clubs and tours that they attended.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Barbera Mancuso, children: Karen (Robert) Tousek, Debbie (Duane) Wicke, and Joe (Lisa) Mancuso. Grandchildren, Amanda Tousek, Lynne Gillie, Drake Mancuso and Carson Mancuso and 5 Great Grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be made to the Brazoria County SPCA.
