Bonnie Jean Brown Green (Hammaw/Bon-Bon) was born on May 14, 1958 in Freeport, Texas to Jack Odom Brown and Billie Louise Rhodes Brown. She passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022.

Bonnie's heart was full of love for those left to cherish her memory. Sons Kent Bartley Green, Jr. (wife, Margaux) and Klint Bradford Green (wife, Nikki); Grandchildren Karalyne Bayle Green, Kathryn Bryleigh Green, Kaulton Bradford Green and Kanin Bartley Green; Brother Jack Brown (wife, Tonia), sister Barbara Stroud, sister-in-law Karen Green Schrom (husband, Bill) and Helen Marie Rickaway Green. She also leaves behind numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces who loved and were loved by Bonnie wholeheartedly.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband Kent Bartley Green, Sr.; her parents, in-laws Kenneth and Doris Green, sister Janette Lee Hughes, great nephew Austin Alan Brown, four brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law.

Bonnie recently moved "Home" from her Happy Place in New Braunfels, Texas so that she would be closer to her family. She was able to watch all her KBG's excel in sports and school. She would spend her days happily moving from fields to arena, the basketball court to dance programs or school/church functions to celebrations of any kind. Her hands were full and so was her heart.

Bonnie's last Facebook post: "Begin to live as though your prayers are already answered."
Visitation will be at Lakewood Funeral Chapel on January 8, 2023 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM
Funeral Service will also be at Lakewood Funeral Chapel on Monday, January 9, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM with burial service to follow.

When I called out to you, You answered me; You made me Strong and Brave. Psalm 138:3

I am so sorry to hear about your Mothers passing. She was a great co-worker and friend. My husband and I had seen her about 3 weeks ago at Pickett Fence. She loved her grandchildren so much, she looked so happy. ❤️

I send my biggest prayers, hugs and sympathies to all of Bonnie's family. I know firsthand how much she dearly loved each and every one of you. Bonnie and I have been dear friends for over 45 years and family was her biggest love and priority. I can't imagine life without her in it but the love she leaves behind with us all is a powerful force and I know it will get us through the days ahead without her. She has given us all so many precious memories to cherish and hang on to. We can treasure them forever and keep her love alive within our hearts. God bless you all. Until we see her again. ♥️ God bless you all.

Bonnie is one of the special people that come into your life and make the world a better place. I have the fondest of memories of her in our young years as kids and our young adult years running the roads with kids in the backseat! We laughed alot! She will always hold a special place in my heart!
