Our beloved mother Frances Garcia Williams age 89, went to be with our Lord and Savior on November 19, 2023 peacefully at her home in Lake Jackson, Texas surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer.

Frances was born April 2, 1934 to Inez and Carmen Garcia in Ganado, Texas. She had a passion for serving her community and worked for Brazosport Memorial Hospital for 25 years. Frances is a faithful servant of God, with faith as a priority. She loved her Catholic faith, prayer life, and her Bible. She always believed God took precedence above everything else in life. Family was most important to her, there was nothing she would not do for the ones she loved. You would often find her at the nearest game room trying her luck. She made friends everywhere she went and never met a stranger.

Frances was proceeded in death by her parents, Inez & Carmen Garcia, her daughters, Francie Garcia and Mary Ann Williams, son Pete (Bubba) Inez Williams; brothers, Phillip Garcia, Herberto Garcia; sisters, Loretta Merlos, Victoria Martinez; niece, Laura Stanton, and brother-in-law Pete M. Aguilar Sr.

She is survived by Elizabeth (Liz) Gonzalez (Roberto), Corrine Morgan, Michael Williams (Arlette), Christine Frederick (Russell), daughter-in-law, Beverly Williams; sisters, Rosie Aguilar and Paula Parker (Ronnie), and her beloved 20 grandchildren , 42 great - grandchildren and 6 great-great - grandchildren.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with as well as those she reached but never met.

Pallbearers Felix Davis, Dion Davis, David Davis, Lawrence Sales, Roberto (Robby) Gonzalez Jr and Ricky Olivas. Honorary Pallbearers, Roberto Gonzalez Sr., Russell Frederick, Michael Williams Sr. and Nathaniel (Nate) Gonzalez.

Frances was a wonderful Mom and I was a frequent guest in her home during my high school years. She was an expert seamstress and sewed many clothes without any need for a pattern. Of course, she surprised me with this skill, I knew it was impressive and loved to watch her work. She was a constant Mom to her kids and I always felt welcome in her home. She will be deeply missed. Sending blessings to her family and to my friends especially.

Heaven is a better place with Ninja there. She will be truly missed, but will always be looking down on all of us shaking her head and smiling! She was my favorite at keeping everyone in line. I loved our talks. Rest in Peace sweet lady!
