Randy Burnett, 74, of Brazoria, TX, passed away peacefully at his home on January 30, 2024. Randy was born November 20, 1949 to Eldridge and Neva Burnette. He graduated in 1969 from Columbia High School. He continued his education at Sam Houston University, earning a bachelor of business administration in 1973. Randy returned home after college to manage Service Merchandise, until it's closing in 2002 and then continued on to manage Dollar General and CVS. He loved working with people, always having a smile on his face and received an award from the Brazos Mall for being the longest running store manager. He is proceeded in death by his parents Eldridge and Neva Burnette and brother, Darrell Burnette. He is survived by his brother Ronnie Burnette and husband Hector, Austin, Tx, children, Wesley Burnett and wife Melissa, Brazoria, Tx, daughter Robin Jernigan and husband Jon, League City, Tx, grandchildren Kaleb and Avrey Burnett, Brazoria, Tx, Briley Keeling and Xander Jernigan, League City, Tx, nephews, Darrell Burnette, Powdersprings, Ga and Tyler Burnette, Kinder, La, nieces Kim Moon, Denton, Tx and Ashley Zegar, Frankfort, Il.

A celebration of life will be held at First Baptist Church of Brazoria, Tx on Saturday, February 3rd at 1pm, visitation from 1230-1:00.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting if you have a photo you would like to share of yourself with Randy, please bring with you.

We are so sorry for your loss. I always thought a lot about him from HS to Service Merchandise. May he rest in eternal peace!!!
